3rd TERM TASK 1
SUGGESTED DEADLINE: 24th APRIL
WRITING: MY ROUTINE IN CONFINEMENT

SAMPLE TEXT:
MY CONFINEMENT ROUTINE
I try to do as many things as possible in confinement. How can I get to do that? Trying to organise myself as much as possible, and, above all, getting up early!
I get up at 8,30 am every weekday, from Monday to Friday. I have a healthy breakfast: toast with ham and cheese, orange juice and coffee with cereal. Some fruit too. At the weekends, I try to get up early too.
I start working soon after breakfast: I check my xtec mail and start meeting my colleagues through videoconference - we use Google Meet. Everybody is making a great effort to update with new technologies. My main job is coordinating and planning how ESO and Batxillerat teachers are working in this strange situation of confinement due to Coronavirus. I usually finish meetings around 14h and then prepare for lunch.
In the afternoon, after lunch and coffee, I work a little bit more. At 6 pm I can get out for a walk. I'm lucky because I have a dog! Her name's Golla. She's very cute. When coming back, I feed her and start my short daily dose of physical exercise. I work out together with my partner. She likes Susana Yábar's routine. It's not my favourite but what can I do? haha. Working out is good for my mind. After that, I read for a while or listen to some music.
At 8 pm I clap as much as I can for five minutes to thank our doctors and nurses, who are managing the Coronavirus crisis in such a brave way. When all this is over, we'll have to reflect on past cutbacks in public health service that have weakened the system.
Dinner is ready at 9 pm - usually vegetables and meat or fish. I'm currently watching Peaky Blinders, one chapter every night, just after dinner. I try to go to bed early, usually at 11 pm, and then I'm able to wake up early too!
